NYC’s Periodic Inspection of Parking Structures program requires subject parking structures to be inspected and filed on a recurring cycle. For Cycle 1C, parking structures located in Bronx, Queens and Staten Island community districts have a filing window from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027.
The periodic condition assessment and DOB filing must be handled by a NYS-licensed Professional Engineer who is designated by DOB as a Qualified Parking Structure Inspector (QPSI). We coordinate with the required qualified professional and focus on the construction and repair scope identified during the inspection process.
DOB states that unsafe parking-structure conditions generally must be corrected within 90 days after an Unsafe filing, unless the applicable repair-extension process is used. Once repairs are completed, an amended filing is required.
